2 Websites to Let You Check Your IP Neighbors
Have a site but do not know who are sharing the same hosting with your? You may feel surprised to check who shares your website IP because some of domains are actually sharing their IP with over 500 other sites!
Here’s 2 websites that allow you to say hello to your IP neighbors.
MyIPNeighbors
myIPneighbors IP search is a great way to find out who your neighbors are or just to see how many other websites your hosting company hosts your server.
YouGetSignal
YouGetSignal performs a reverse IP domain check that points to a web server and searches for other sites known to be hosted on the same web server.
The better part of YouGetSignal is it highlights the web sites in question. There is possibility that all of the web sites on this web server may be blocked by web filtering software. Search engine rankings for these web sites may be affected as well.
My $0.02
Statistics given by the 2 sites above are not consistent. So far, I have no idea what is the reason behind it. But what I am worrying now is YouGetSignal actually shows that 690 domains hosted on the same web server as k-director.com. If real, it’s time to change web hosting again. ![]()
