Permalinks are the URLs to your single posts, pages and categories postings. By default, WordPress displays permalinks in this way: http://www.k-director.com/?p-123. This permalink means nothing to Google. A more search engine friendly permalink should include the post title in the link such as: http://www.k-director.com/blog/blogging-seo. This permalinks tell Google spiders what the article is about immediately. Thus, your post will have a bigger chance of showing up in SERP.

How to alter WordPress Permalink

To alter WordPress permalink, go to Options in your WordPress, then select Permalinks. Check “Custom, specify below”. In the custom structure box you can insert these codes:

To add an animated favicon.ico instead of statics favicon.ico for your blog or website is not that difficult. Here are the steps to create and insert an animated favicon.ico:

1. Create an animated gif file.
2. Rename the file extension to .ico.
   favicon.gif -> Rename -> favicon.ico
   
3. Upload it to your website. For example: http://www.yoursite.com/images/
4. Edit your header.php or index.php. Depend on what CMS you’re using. Add the following:
   <link rel=”icon” href=”http://www.yoursite.com/images/favicon.ico” type=”image/favicon-icon” />

Now the animated gif should appear in the address bar of your web browser or bookmark section. So far, only Mozilla Firefox and Opera can display animated icon, and Internet Explorer didn’t support it.

Note: Animated sequences can be very distracting.

I bought some books in book fair. Before I started blogging, I was actually a book worm. Now I have less time to spend on reading as I am new in blogging, I spare most of my rest hours to learn how to blog better, SEO and how to make money online. More hobbies take more time and energy.

Books I bought include scientific books and magazines, San Guo Yan Yi in simplified words (I have its traditional format version too), computer magazines and a Taiwan Chinese book. I will be going again in coming days to get some books for my jobs.
