WebOS

Online services like photo editors and favicon creator are no longer something new to us. Since we have free online softwares, it’s not surprise that we can access Operating System (OS) online too.

WebOS provides OS services to wide-area applications, including mechanisms for resource discovery, a global namespace, remote process execution, resource management, authentication, and security. WebOS users can access their own WebOS account in any places to retrieve and store data. The only tool we need, is web browser.

I manage to find 22 powerful WebOS. Full list after jump.

    No doubt that WebOS can't replace Windows "so far". But I believe one day people will rely more on Online Computing rather than Offline Computing.

    Great collection. I would like to add that all of these seem to be a service where you have your personal and private information reside. These kinds of service have no guarantee for longevity.

    Easy to integrate current site into the API. You need to change your site links. All stays the same.
