Online services like photo editors and favicon creator are no longer something new to us. Since we have free online softwares, it’s not surprise that we can access Operating System (OS) online too.

WebOS provides OS services to wide-area applications, including mechanisms for resource discovery, a global namespace, remote process execution, resource management, authentication, and security. WebOS users can access their own WebOS account in any places to retrieve and store data. The only tool we need, is web browser.

    No doubt that WebOS can't replace Windows "so far". But I believe one day people will rely more on Online Computing rather than Offline Computing.

  19. One thing I would really like to say is the fact before obtaining more personal computer memory, check out the machine directly into which it could be installed. In the event the machine is running Windows XP, for instance, the particular memory ceiling is 3.25GB. Setting up more than this would basically constitute a waste. Be sure that one’s motherboard can handle the upgrade volume, as well. Great blog post.
