More Ads from Google Adsense

Google Adsense

Google Adsense has finally implemented the latest text ad format for its Adsense users. This new format includes “next” and “previous” arrow buttons for website surfers to look for more related CPC ads. It’s more like a controlable ads slide show to me.

Google Ads

Bear in mind that no profit will be generated when user clicks on the ‘next’ and ‘previous’ buttons. These navigation buttons just built for providing a better ads search for internet surfers, and so, Adsense users can increase their revenue at the same time.

Not bad huh??

Bad Culture for Malaysia Internet Ads Company: Late Payment

I just got my Nuffnang checks today. For your information, my earning has reached over RM100 in December 2007. After 3 long months, I finally got my payment from Nuffnang. I can say this is a very late payment for a local internet ads company. After I experienced Advertlets late payment, I thought it would be better for Nuffnang to process publishers’ payment due to their good reputation. But apparently I am wrong.

This is what Nuffnang states at the bottom of “Earning” page.

[Please note that a transaction fee of RM 1 will be applied to any cashout payments.
Please also allow about 30 days for your payment to be processed and sent.]

For my 11 Dec 07 earning, it takes almost 3 months to reach me. It’s about 90 days but not 30 days. I am not someone who is waiting for Nuffnang’s payment for my living. I am just disappointed with their service.

I think they should change their website banner to the below one.

 Nuffnang Late Payment

PS: For Gokita or GrabMyAds, I seriously doubt anyone has got their payment as their ads earning speed is super slow if compared to Google Adsense.   :?:

Updates: New WidgetBucks International CPM Country List

Earn $$ with WidgetBucks!

WidgetBucks has launched International CPM Ads last year. However, traffics from Malaysia and other Asia countries were not be accepted in cost-per-thousand impressions basic

Unfortunately, according to WidgetBucks blog, WidgetBucks just shortened the list of countries that pay on CPM basis, which means, only traffics from lesser countries will earn CPM revenue. :???:

Revenue earned through visitors from countries no longer on the list will still be paid through today, March 7.
If a WidgetBucks ad widget is placed on a site that is visited by a user in a non-paying country, that user will not see any ad content.

List of countries whose traffic continues to pay on a CPM basis:

  • Australia (AU)
  • Austria (AT)
  • Belgium (BE)
  • Denmark (DK)
  • France (FR)
  • Germany (DE)
  • India (IN)
  • Ireland (IE)
  • Italy (IT)
  • Netherlands (NL)
  • New Zealand (NZ)
  • Portugal (PT)
  • Puerto Rico (PR)
  • Singapore (SG)
  • South Africa (ZA)
  • Spain (ES)
  • Switzerland (CH)
  • United Arab Emirates (AE)
  • United Kingdom (GB)

My $0.02

So again, Malaysia is not in the list. Traffics from Malaysia is apparently valueless for WidgetBucks’ advertisers. Therefore, if your targeted traffics are mostly from Malaysia, WidgetBucks might not be an efficient money maker for you.

Make Money with Playing Audio Ads on Your Site

PayPerPlay audio ads

Make money online with putting Google ads, selling text link ads and writing per pay post are no longer a new thing in blogsphere. In order to generate more income, we need more creative methods to fully use the website. Therefore, NetAudioAds has came out an idea to sell audio (Voice) ads through bloggers.

How does NetAudioAds work?

NetAudioAds is an online advertising media format which plays 5 seconds audio ads on your website whenever a visitor drops by. It is based on PPP(Pay-Per-Play) to decide the income of your website. Audio ads are only heard on web pages where the website owner has placed PPP code.

PPP audio ads are smart enough to play related content of any webpage where the PPP code is placed. The visitor will only hear one audio ad for every 3 minutes they visit if they have already heard an audio ad on another page of the same website.

Make Money with PPP audio ads

As a website owner can earn up to 25% of the “per-play” revenue spent by the advertisers that play audio ads on your website.

By referring other website owners, you can earn 5% of the total amount that our advertisers spend running ads on your referrals website(s). Therefore, without playing the PPP audio ads on your website, you also can earn some easy money too.

Advertises spend $100, whoever referred by you will earn $25, and you will earn $5.

Note that publishers can enjoy the earning from 2 tiers of affiliates.

New Changes for Google Adsense Referral Program

Google Adsense Referral

There are some new changes for Google Adsense referral program as Google team has decided to modify the original plan. Bad news for anyone who depends heavily on the earning of referring new publishers to Google Adsense.

1. New Plan for Promoting Google Adsense

Thanks for many fraud cases of cheating Google Adsense USD250 referral fee, Google Adsense team has decided to pay to user(the person who being referred by you) who is located in North America, Latin America or Japan ONLY!!!! Location of publisher has nothing to do with this change. You’ll earn USD100 for every user you refer to Google Adsense when they generate USD 100 in their Adsense revenue within 180 days. This condition comes with they must remove the payment holds too.

Previously Google Adsense pays USD250 for every user you refer when his/her revenue has reached UDS100 within 180 days.

These changes will go into effect the last week of January.

2. New Plan for Promoting Google Pack and Firefox

  1. Google Pack – Each successful Google pack referral will only earn up to USD1 instead of USD 2 from the third week of February. Location of referrals and users has nothing to do with this change.
  2. Firefox – Any Firefox from China will get a lesser payment from the third week of February. That means any installation from China users will not make publishers a good earning.

Needless to say, these changes sure will decrease revenue for most of the publishers. What else can publisher does besides accept these changes? If you want to stay in the game, play with the new rules and continue have fun with it.

I’ve Got My First Advertlets Cheque!

After waited for 3 months, I finally got my first Advertlets cheque!

Advertlets Cheque
(Black and white version of Advertlets Cheque)

I cashed out my money on 2nd of October 2007, after 45 days of preparation plus 45 days of delivery, I got my cheque today (I am staying in KL area).

My thoughts about Advertlets

Even though there is a lot of complaints and frustrations about Advertlets but at least, Advertlets does pay the money. Hehe.

I have a few suggestions to Advertlets here. If you know Josh Lim, please ask him to pay this blog a visit.

  1. More transparency - Be more transparent on the payment progress so at least publishers know the exact time they can receive the money.
  2. Quick reply - Be quick in replying the questions that asked by publishers. I received Advertlets’s reply 2 months after I submitted few tickets to Advertlets to ask about the payment, earning and impressions problem.
  3. Higher earning – I believe most of Advertlets publishers are facing this crisis like me. The earning per impression has dropped terribly. My earning has dropped from RM1-2 per day until today, RM0.10-RM0.20. I did give them the reasons but I don’t think Advertlets takes it seriously.
  4. Keep a good image – If talk about branding, I personally think Nuffnang has done a good job on it. Think about the email nuffnangers received from Nuffnang, the punctuation of Nuffnang’s cheque and the efficiency of Nuffnang. Advertlets has a lot to learn from them.
  5. More promotion – Promotion should be carried on from time to time. Online and offline promotions can attract more bloggers to join the network and at the mean time, the brand name will get more famous.

Conclusion

Asia ads network is now more competitive since we have 4 local ads network right now. But isn’t it the reason that will beneficial bloggers and advertisers? I wonder…

AzoogleAds Network Full of Malaysian?

AzoogleAds Network

Last month I applied to become a publisher on AzoogleAds because I wanted to test its performance in K-Director.com. However I received their reply last week and this is what they stated in the email:

Thank you for your interest in the AzoogleAds network!  Unfortunately, we are no longer accepting new candidates from this country. In the event we move forward with future international business a member of the Publisher Support Team will contact you directly. Please feel free to address any additional questions to: internationalpublisher@azoogleads.com

AzoogleAds network is no longer accepting Malaysian as their publisher. Why??

The Reasons Behind It

  1. Publishers from Malaysia are abusing Internet to make money online.
  2. Our (Malaysian) reputations are not good.
  3. Lack of purchasing power from the local market.
  4. Too many MFA websites are based in Malaysia.
  5. We can’t bring targeted traffics to AzoogleAds.
  6. They are not aiming Asian market.

The above reasons are just my wild guess.    So for whoever from Malaysia, you can save your time to apply as a publisher on AzoogleAds after you read this post.
