AzoogleAds Network Full of Malaysian?

Last month I applied to become a publisher on AzoogleAds because I wanted to test its performance in K-Director.com. However I received their reply last week and this is what they stated in the email:

Thank you for your interest in the AzoogleAds network!  Unfortunately, we are no longer accepting new candidates from this country. In the event we move forward with future international business a member of the Publisher Support Team will contact you directly. Please feel free to address any additional questions to: internationalpublisher@azoogleads.com

AzoogleAds network is no longer accepting Malaysian as their publisher. Why??

The Reasons Behind It

  1. Publishers from Malaysia are abusing Internet to make money online.
  2. Our (Malaysian) reputations are not good.
  3. Lack of purchasing power from the local market.
  4. Too many MFA websites are based in Malaysia.
  5. We can’t bring targeted traffics to AzoogleAds.
  6. They are not aiming Asian market.

The above reasons are just my wild guess.  :cool:  So for whoever from Malaysia, you can save your time to apply as a publisher on AzoogleAds after you read this post.

Beware of PayPal Phishing Email

Phishing is an attempt to criminally and fraudulently acquire sensitive information, such as usernames, passwords and credit card details, by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication.

Today I received an email from “PayPal” that reminds me to update my billing records or my account will be suspended. My first thought was surprised and panic. :shock: But then I look carefully on the email, I found out there are few suspicious spots.

After I’ve confirmed that is a phishing mail, I tried to click the provided link and wanted to see how it looked like. But too bad, it leaded me to an error page.

Anyway, we all just need to be more cautions of phishing emails as we always deal to online payment services. If got any suspicious email, verify it first before click the provided link. :idea:

Are you feeling of starting a website or blog after you read my previous post - I Got My First Google Adsense Cheque?
Here are some tips you can count on.

Tip 1 - Select A Good Niche
Select a good niche you’re passionate with, and of course it’s better to have experience on what you’re going to show and talk about. A website doesn’t mean you must make it as a blog. There are many CMS(Content Management System) free engines can help you to create forum, online database and e-commerce site easily. If you purchase your webhosting with cpanel support, you can even install these CMS engines through your fantastico within 5 minutes.

Tip 2 - Get A KEYWORD-RICH Domain Name
After you have decided your website’s niche, you should start to think for a good domain name. Choosing the right domain could BOOST your search engine rankings. By having a KEYWORD-RICH domain name is an important factor of Search Engine Optimization. You can check for KEYWORD-RICH domain name’s availability here.

Tip 3 - Get A Webhosting
If you’re Malaysian, I would like to suggest you to get a local webhosting plan instead of foreign webhosting plan. The reason is simple - stupid Streamyx “lets” you load the local sites and servers much more faster than foreign sites and servers.
I am currently using Datakl.com’s linux webhosting plan with cpanel support. Everything is fine so far and they really provide me a very good service(7 days 24 hours technical support). Moreover, the price of their package offered is reasonable.
Get the cheapest webhosting package+1 domain name = RM165 per year only. Remember type in the promotion code before you put your order so you can get the discount up to RM50.

Tip 4 - Installation
Select the most appropriate softwares in fantastico and install it.
If you’re going to start a blog, WordPress is the one you shall install it. :D Then, you can select thousand of free WordPress themes and install free WordPress plugins to enhance your blog.

Get Your Movie Ticket with E-payment Ticketing(GSC)

I have tried several times to book my movie ticket online. But most of the time the selected movie is fully booked. When I complained this to my collegues today, I was told that there is an alternative method to get movie ticket online. :D

Silly me just keep thinking we only can “book” the ticket but actually now we can straight buy it online by using credit card. It is simple and we don’t need to rush to collect our ticket 40 minutes before the show.

What do you need?

1. Be a GSC member. (You can register at www.gsc.com.my, it’s free)
2. Credit Card.

How to start?

1. Visit to www.gsc.com.my.
2. Sign in.
3. Go to “Showtimes & Ticketing” - “E-payment Ticketing”

5. Select Ticket.
6. Select Seats (Yes, you can select your favourite seats)

Now I believe queuing isn’t neccessary when we want to enjoy a good show. :)

What is PageRank? 

According to Wikipedia.com “PageRank is a family of algorithms for assigning numerical weightings to hyperlinked documents (or web pages) indexed by a search engine. Its properties are much discussed by search engine optimization (SEO) experts. The popular search engine Google to help determine a page’s relevance or importance uses the PageRank system. Google’s founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin developed it while at Stanford University in 1998.”

“PageRank is Google’s way of deciding a page’s importance. It matters because it is one of the factors that determine a page’s ranking in the search results. It isn’t the only factor that Google uses to rank pages, but it is an important one. ”

Why do we want it?

According to webworkshop.net, “PageRank is a numeric value that represents how important a page is on the web. Google figures that when one page links to another page, it is effectively casting a vote for the other page. The more votes that are cast for a page, the more important the page must be. Also, the importance of the page that is casting the vote determines how important the vote itself is. Google calculates a page’s importance from the votes cast for it. How important each vote is is taken into account when a page’s PageRank is calculated.

  1. Check your air filter - A clean air filter is the key to good fuel economy.
  2. Check your tire pressure - Keep them properly inflated
  3. Slow down - As speed increases, fuel economy decreases exponentially.
  4. Hang with the trucks - Rolling with the big rigs saves fuel (and aggravation).
  5. Accelerate with care - If you accelerate to speed then have to brake right away, that’s wasted fuel.
  6. Get back to nature - Shutting off the air conditioner.
  7. Back off the bling - For long road trips, the stock wheels give a smoother ride and better economy.
  8. Clean out your car - The more weight your car has to haul, the more gas it needs to do the work.
  9. Out with the new, in with the old - The costs of keeping the car may or may not be less then the fuel saved, but it does allow for more predictability in your budget.
  10. Don’t drive -  “Is this trip really necessary?”


I personally like the 10th tip - Don’t drive.  If our public transportation is being well-developed, I believe most of us will choose do not drive.
