TDO Mini Forms allows you to add highly customisable forms to your WordPress blog that allows your readers (including non-registered) to submit guest posts.
For admininstrator
The posts are kept in “draft” until an admin can publish them (also configurable). The plugin provides an extensive moderation view so administrators and editors can see posts awaiting approval and publish or delete them. Administrators can also ban specific users and IPs from using the form. Administrators can also “Trust” specific users. This means that when they use the form, their posts are automatically published.

According to JohnChow’s free e-book, the best structures for a URL are Date and Name based or a custom /%postname%/ because they are the most search engine friendly.
I previously set my permalink structure as /%archive%/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/ which was a bit too long for most search engines. It also caused Google couldn’t figure out what my article is about immediately.
So if you are doing the same with what I did, it’s still not too late to change it now.
Permalinks Migration Plugin allows you to restructure your wordpress permalink safely without breaking your old links to your websites.
This plugin makes your search engines indexed pages still valid by telling search engines that the page has permanently moved and replacing a new link for you.
After you installed this plugin, a “301 Redirectâ€, also known as a Permanent Redirect will be generated. Your Google Indexes will be updated quickly and you don’t need to worry to lose your traffic.
This plugin works for search engines, bookmarks, and links from other sites.
I have installed this plugin for few days, let’s see will it make any change for www.k-director.com or not.
By the way, cypherhackz.net introduced another useful wordpress plugin to redirect your website from non to www prefix.
Great plugin!

Recently I received many comment-spam. At first I thought k-director.com is just a new site, it won’t get comment-spam so easily. But I was wrong. These spam are irritating and wasting my time to delete them.
That’s why I decided to activate Akismet plugin today (Akismet Wordpress plugin ships with WordPress 2.0 and later by default). After I activated it, I was required to enter a unique Wordpress.com API key. Just 2 simple steps, I never have to worry about spam again.
Akismet
Akismet checks your comments against the Akismet web service to see if they look like spam or not. You need a WordPress.com API key to use it. You can review the spam it catches under “Comments.” To show off your Akismet stats just put in your template.
What is API Keys?
WordPress.com has what’s called “API keys†which allow you to use services and enhancements built on the WordPress.com platform. This allows you to leverage the power of WP.com while still hosting your blog elsewhere.
How do I get one?
When you sign up for a WordPress.com account we will email you an API key. If you already have a WordPress.com account, your API key is listed on your profile page, which you can get to by clicking the “My Account†link in the top right when you’re logged in.
Where is my API key?
Every user of WordPress.com gets a unique API key they can use to access a number of services. This key should be as kept as secret as your password — don’t share it with anybody.
To find your key go to your dashboard and then click on “Profile” (or “My Account”) and you should see a sentence that says “Your WordPress.com API key is:” followed by a string of 12 letters and numbers. There you have it! You can copy and paste that string to any place where it is asked for by a service you want to use.
You must have registered here at wordpress.com to get an API key. Just having a wordpress blog somewhere else does not get you a key.

27 Apr, 2007 Wordpress Plugins
I have added 2 wordpress plugins today. The first wordpress plugin was “Subscribe to Comments”.
It allows commenters to sign up for e-mail notification of subsequent entries.
So next time if you leave any comments here, tick “Notify me of followup comments via e-mail” before you send your comment. It lets you get an e-mail notification if there is any updates or reply of the comments.

Subscribe to Comments
Subscribe to Comments is a robust plugin that enables commenters to sign up for e-mail notification of subsequent entries. The plugin includes a full-featured subscription manager that your commenters can use to unsubscribe to certain posts, block all notifications, or even change their notification e-mail address!
You can get the plugin at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/subscribe-to-comments/
Second wordpress plugin I installed was “PageBar”. PageBar adds an advanced page navigation to my blog instead of “Next Entries” and “Previous Entries”.

The current navigation buttons look better than the previous one. It also provides a more convenient method for readers to explore my site.
Get PageBar plugin at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/pagebar/
Hopefully you all enjoy the functions of these plugins.
