Insert Image to A Gmail Message Body
Folks in Gmail has finally released another important feature for Gmail’s rich-text editor – inserting images in a Gmail message.
Now you are able to inline any photos into a message body instead of just attach them. You can upload and insert image files in your computer or insert images by URLs.
Bear in mind that this feature is not a default configuration. You’re requested to enable this feature in Gmail Labs for inserting images directly into message.
Just go to “Settings – Labs – Enable Inserting Images”.
Unlike the file attachment, you can only select a photo at a time. But still, it’s handy enough.
You’re allowed to choose from the available sizes (small, medium, large) or resize the image by dragging one of the corners if the uploaded image is too large.
