In short, Find My Friends is a free app which lets you locate friends and family easily with your iPad, iPhone of iPod touch if your friends or family allow and accept the request from you to use the same app. It is a great solution to share your location with people who are important to you.

Check Location on Map

Friends or family who accept the request and sharing their location with you will appear on a map so you can have a better idea where they are and what they’re up to.

Just install Find My Friends and sign in with your Apple ID which been used for iCloud. After that, send a request from Find My Friends to your friends or family to check their location.

Temporary Sharing and Privacy Settings

This handy app also provides location temporary sharing option, which means, you can allow your location being shared for a limited period of time with a group of friends. If you don’t wish to share your location all the time, this is an very useful option to share location for just a couple of hours/days.

A notification appears when someone is sending you a request. You can either allow the request and permission or go off the grid with the flip of a switch.

Parental Restrictions

Want to know where your kids locate all the time? Find My Friends lets you set up a password to protect your settings and make sure Find My Friends will never able be turned off.
