In short, Cammster turns your webcam into a motion detector security camera without any cost. It is a free alarm system for your house if you don’t wish to leave your house or room without supervision during a short trip.

How Cammster Works

Leaving the house or room, you leave the turned on computer with the webcam connected to the Internet and the launched program.

If movement is detected, the program will photograph the place through the webcam and will save pictures to the selected storages. You will be notified by sms and email about it.

If you have pets, you can adjust sensitivity of the program to avoid false alarms.

It supports:

How to Use Cammster

First of all you need to register a free account at http://cammster.com/site/register. After that you login your account and click on “Run cammster now”. Make sure your webcam is connected.

If you have several webcams connected, you can choose the one you want to use.

Here you can change webcam, adjust detector sensitivity, play siren and slide to start.

Cammster allows its user check the alerts history, edit the photo settings and sms settings.

If you want more functions than movement detection; e-mail, rapidshare and dropbox storages; alerts history; support; list of active cammsters; etc, you may purchase for paid function like SMS alert.
