#1 Microsoft to buy Yahoo?
Microsoft and Yahoo have been flirting with each other for years now, nut recently Microsoft has been more aggressive in pursuing Yahoo. Microsoft offers to buy Yahoo a few months back with $50 billion â€œlure moneyâ€ but the deal is still in discussions.
#2 Technorati Establishes an “Authority” Ranking System
Technorati just turned on a new feature that sorts keyword searches by authority (e.g. in-bound links). The more users, the higher the blog’s authority.
#3 Yahoo Messenger in Web-based format
Yahoo on last Thursday launched a web-based version of its free instant messaging service for Internet users who want to stay connected while away from their home computers. Yahoo Messenger for the Web is available online at http://webmessenger.yahoo.com
