I've few friends who are doing fine without a partner. They lead real productive lives, have their own car, own house, own freedom to do whatever they like whenever they like. They need not be scolded whenever they work for long hours or don't spend enough time with their partners or be pull to attend ridiculous functions of their partners' friends. There are plenty of reasons why staying single will actually keep you sane! But baseless ramblings aside, LiewCF (and all others reading this) if you wanna find yourself a gal, be ready to commit to her (cause they can really get on your nerves at times). And down the road, you may one day reason with yourself, do I want to submit myself (yes, submit) to this gal for my whole entire, miserable life forever more?! .. Just kidding, honey. I've heard someone said before: set the trial period as 3 years, if by the end of 3 years you are not sure whether or not you want to be married to this person, then you really gotta buck up and make some changes. -- Don't quote me on that. First, dress to impress. If he wants a girl that looks pretty and dresses well, obviously he needs to do something about his appearance (look and dress smart). Seriously, I do believe a geek can turn into a smart handsome guy if he invests some time and effort to know what to wear and what not to wear. I'm not talking about changing his entire look but to improve his current appearance. Hire an image consultant if it's affordable. Other than that, it's good to be humble but always remember not to overdo it. Every self-criticism must followed by some positive actions to overcome it. If he's not good in something, he should focus on how to improve that something. If he's not romantic enough, probably he can read some romantic novels or watch romantic movies, or learn it from someone. Learn from mistake. Why did the previous relationship couldn't last? Find out the possible reasons and improve from there. He needs the never-give-up spirit and look-on-the-bright-side thinking. Knowledge need to be built in all areas, not only on making money online. Most importantly, it's the values that you add into your life. It's good to learn new things/skills everyday and there's a need to focus in all aspects to become a better person.
