WordPress 2.5 Releases Candidate 2 is in The House (Screenshots)
WordPress just released WordPress 2.5 RC 2. After 17 days of RC1, we’re getting closer to the final release of WordPress 2.5. Matt Mullenweg, founder of WordPress shows a screencast (video) to demo and explain the new features in WordPress 2.5 RC 2 such as new dashboard and uploader.

Theme Compatibility
No reports of any broken themes was found in this upgrade. New optional capabilities like Gravatars was added.
Plugins Compatibility
Plugins that work with the admin may require updating to take advantage of the new. It’s always better to deactivate your plugins before upgrading for WP 2.5 RC 2 and let the built-in updater notify and give you one-click upgrades to plugins you have installed. Here is a list showing that which plugins work great and which don’t, compiled by the community.
Download and test WordPress 2.5 RC 2
If you’re interested in testing the latest WordPress version, you can download and install Release Candidate 2 of WordPress 2.5, and then, remember join the testers mailing list to report any bugs found.
